For several years now, the Triathlon Québec Gala has been the must-attend event to close the season in style and celebrate the remarkable performances of our members.
On the program: a dynamic evening of awards ceremonies, exclusive announcements on the future of triathlon in Quebec, and a festive atmosphere not to be missed. An event to experience in person!
Our Triumph
Did you know that the trophies presented at the Gala Triathlon Québec are called “Triomphe” and are made from pieces of maple wood recovered according to the principle of sustainable economy?
They were precision-cut using a 6,000-lb-pressure water jet and customized by laser engraving.
We owe the exclusive design of our magnificent trophies to Jean-Philippe Caron of Protocole – trophées d’exception.
An indisputable pride generator, Jean-Philippe is the designer behind the famous teardrop-shaped medals of the 11th FINA World Championships – Montreal 2005, as well as those of the 37th FIG Gymnastics World Championships – Montreal 2017.
A true work of art, Jean-Philippe Caron’s trophies are prized by the business world throughout North America.
Some of his creations include PGA Tour trophies and Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix trophies, which have earned him worldwide recognition.
Selection criteria
In each category, winners are chosen for an outstanding and transcendent sporting achievement that has contributed to the development of triathlon. The main selection criteria are:

Club categories (6 to 8)
- Regional influence
- Service offering (type of clientele, facilities, organized activities, etc.)
- Number of members
- Athletes’ performance
Coach categories (9 to 12)
- Community contributions
- Athletes’ performance
- Continuing education
Event categories (13 to 17)
- Quality and number of participants
- Radiation and visibility
- Quality of organization (evaluation of the technical delegate’s event report)
