To ensure the smooth running of the organization and support the work of the Board of Directors, several committees have been set up. They actively contribute to reflection, decision-making and the realization of strategic mandates.

Ethics and Discipline Committee

The Ethics and Discipline Committee plays an important role in the complaint management process and in the criminal record check process. When Triathlon Québec receives a complaint against one of its members, it forwards it to the Ethics and Discipline Committee set up by the Board of Directors.

The Disciplinary Committee shall only deal with complaints for which the Board of Directors has given it the authority to do so:

  • Complaints about breaches of the Code of Ethics;
  • Sports and regulatory complaints: raiding, affiliations, etc;
  • Anything that is not criminal in nature or related to harassment.
