A minimum of three stages must be completed to be eligible for the ranking. The top three finishers overall and by age group will receive a recognition plaque at the end of the season, if they have completed a minimum of three stages. Challenge yourself!
Score 2025
There are two levels of events in the Coupe Québec series, for both youth and adult age groups. Each level earns a different number of points. There are two distinct classifications: one for all categories and one by age group. The top 20 positions decrement by 7.5% in the same way as World Triathlon. Thereafter, positions decrement by 2.5% until the last member has crossed the finish line.
For the Coupe Québec Triathlon (CQT) and Duathlon (CQD), all events have the same value (CQ-1000), with the exception of the Quebec sprint and Olympic distance championships (CQ-1200).
CQ-1000
1,000 points are awarded for first place. The top 20 positions are decremented by 7.5%. Thereafter, positions decrement by 2.5% until the last member has crossed the finish line. All the usual stages in the series have this score.
CQ-1200
1,200 points are awarded to first place. The top 20 positions are decremented by 7.5%. Thereafter, positions decrement by 2.5% until the last member has crossed the finish line. Only the Quebec sprint and Olympic championships have this score.
