ATHLETE'S CODE OF CONDUCT
To get the most out of sport, participants must adopt attitudes and behaviours that reflect the purest sporting spirit.
What’s important is not necessarily winning or losing, but how the athlete practices the sport. They must never lose sight of the fact that it’s a game. For maximum enjoyment, each participant must :
- Participate for the fun of it, remembering that sport is not an end, but a means to an end.
- Strictly observe the rules of the game and the sportsmanship charter
- Accept and respect official decisions at all times
- Always respect officials, opponents and their fans, who must not become enemies
- Always remain in control
- Behave in an exemplary manner on and off the set, using language that is free of insults, vulgar expressions and profanity.
- Respect your coach and managers and obey their instructions when they are not contrary to your well-being
- Put all your energy into the game, avoiding discouragement in failure and vanity in victory.
- Respect the property of others and avoid theft or vandalism
- Refuse and not tolerate the use of drugs, medication or any stimulant with the aim of improving performance.
- Refusing and not tolerating the use of mechanical doping
