Insurance coverage
Your Triathlon Québec membership entitles you to coverage:
- Public liability insurance valid at all times when you practice triathlon (individual, group or competition training, transportation to training or competition) or when you administer or manage a club

Discounts on registrations and at our partners
Triathlon Québec annual members save on their registrations and with our partners.
With an annual membership, you no longer have to pay the one-day membership fee ($12 or $27 per registration, depending on distance) when you register for an event on the calendar. A big difference on your total annual bill.
What’s more, our members can save money by benefiting from discounts in many specialist triathlon, swimming, cycling and running stores.
Free, privileged services
At most Coupe du Québec events, the Conseil chiropratique des sciences du sport du Québec (CCSSQ) will be on hand to provide free care to athletes.
An incredible competition setting
Chiropractic care
You also benefit from a free chiropractic sports evaluation and treatment (given by a chiropractor who is a member of the CCSSQ) at each race in the Quebec Cup series.
Ranking and awards
You also have access to an overall ranking, a ranking by club and a ranking by age group (Coupe du Québec). A prize will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group at the Triathlon Québec gala at the end of the season.
Contribute to the development of triathlon in Quebec
Joining Triathlon Québec means supporting the development of the sport in the province:
Practice development for young, up-and-coming and elite players

Setting up services to meet the needs of Triathlon Québec members
- Development of a safe competition network

A coach development program
Coaches benefit from support, tools and many other advantages.
Membership as a coach entitles you to third-party liability insurance when coaching your athletes, and gives you access to coach training courses, a directory of coaches recognized by Triathlon Québec and a documentation center.
Triathlon Québec member-coaches have access to the services of the Coaches Development Coordinator (CDE).
Membership rates
- Membership is valid from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026.
- Age is calculated as of December 31 of the current year.
- Taxes are added to the membership fee.
Refund policy
Triathlon Québec membership fees are refundable only if one of the following situations applies and the refund request is made within two weeks of the member’s joining:
- For various reasons, a member registers twice.
- For various reasons, a club may register one of its members twice.
Membership fees are non-refundable in the following situations:
- A member decides to stop triathlon.
- A club affiliates a member without the member’s consent, even though the member has decided to stop triathlon.
- A competition in which a member has entered is cancelled.
- Force majeure.
- Any other situation.
A case of force majeure is an unforeseeable and irresistible event resulting from circumstances external to the parties, which prevents the performance of an obligation. The following are considered to be cases of force majeure: roadblock, epidemic, pandemic, explosion, landslide, strike, war, fire, flood, hurricane, power failure, drought, ice storm.
