The ÉPIQ (lac-gravelle-montagne) Triathlon is an extreme triathlon, with an open-water swim in majestic Lake Memphremagog, a gravel bike on the most beautiful gravel roads in Potton Township, and a run on the same roads and trails, including the ascent and descent of Owl's Head Mountain. It's an event with a high level of difficulty, which advocates a return to the roots of triathlon by offering an eco-responsible (EcoTQ Silver certified), semi-autonomous event, in a natural environment that encourages the surpassing of oneself.
Nominated as a regional event as well as a “coup de cœur” event at Triathlon Québec's Gala 2024, the fourth edition of the ÉPIQ Triathlon will take place on September 27, 2025 and will feature three triathlon and two duathlon events, all with plenty of D+!
The ÉPIQ Triathlon is also an event by the community for the community, as all participants commit to completing a reasonable fundraising effort, and the event's operating surplus will be donated in its entirety to the Centre d'action bénévole de la Missisquoi Nord (CAB MN), a non-profit organization dedicated to finding solutions to problems affecting health, social services, protection, education and everything that concerns the quality of life of everyone, especially the marginalized and young people of the western sector of the Memphrémagog MRC.
It's going to be ÉPIQ!
