About Triathlon Québec
Triathlon Québec is the Quebec sports federation mandated by the Quebec government to promote and develop triathlon and its variants (short and long distance, winter triathlon, cross triathlon, winter pentathlon, duathlon, aquathlon, SwimRun, aquavélo…). A non-profit organization founded in 1988, Triathlon Québec has enjoyed strong growth since the early 2010s.

Your daily challenges
Under the supervision of the Competition and High Performance Director, the incumbent coordinates the programming of athlete and coach development activities. Supports organizing committees in the success of their events.
- Develop, govern and promote various series.
- Coordinate various sports development projects.
- Follow up on various issues related to sports development.
Support and presence at events
- Offer advice and recommendations to organizers;
- Carry out technical inspections;
- Check plans, route and timetable;
- Pre- and post-event technical reports;
- Field logistics planning;
- Setting up and dismantling competition sites;
- Act as technical delegate and/or event official;
What you need to succeed in this role
- Available to work frequently on weekends;
- Agree to a higher volume of work during the summer period;
- Be in good physical condition;
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the sports world as a coach, official or event organizer;
- Knowledge of triathlon and Quebec events;
- Good stress management and ability to work under pressure;
- Autonomous, responsible, organized, rigorous, dynamic, resourceful and diplomatic;
- A valid driver’s license;
- Good knowledge of Word and Excel;
- Bachelor’s degree in sports an asset;
- Coaching training in triathlon or related sport an asset;
- National lifeguard training an asset.
