About Triathlon Québec
Triathlon Québec is the Quebec sports federation mandated by the Government of Quebec to promote and develop triathlon and its variants (short and long distance, winter triathlon, cross triathlon, winter pentathlon, duathlon, aquathlon, SwimRun, aquavélo…). A non-profit organization founded in 1988, Triathlon Québec has enjoyed strong growth since the early 2010s.

Your daily challenges
Under the supervision of General Management, the incumbent is primarily responsible for the federation’s communications and marketing. He/she develops and implements the communications and marketing plan, in line with the federation’s strategic planning, mission and values. He/she is responsible for :
- Develop a content strategy based on objectives and data analysis, and develop a publication calendar;
- Communicate key messages by creating visually appealing social media and video content;
- Target the right media to use, depending on the key message and target audience of the different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, LinkedIn, Threads and Twitter) ;
- Create and update the federation’s social media best practices guide (Playbook);
- Write various articles for the website, newsletter and various media;
- Enhancing the federation’s brand image;
- Track the engagement rate of our virtual communities;
- Ensure high visibility for sponsors and partners;
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends, digital technologies and best practices;
- Keep the website up to date.
What you need to succeed in this role
- Minimum of four years’ experience in a similar position;
- Undeniable talent for creating written and video content on social media;
- Strategic vision and analytical skills;
- Excellent oral and written French ;
- Good communicator ;
- Self-taught personality;
- Collaboration and teamwork ;
- Available to work evenings and weekends during competitions;
- Agree to a higher volume of work during the summer period;
- Interest in sports ;
- Studies in community management, communications, marketing or other relevant training;
- Computer skills :
- Office suite
- Adobe Suite
- Canvas
- WordPress
- Knowledge of triathlon and Quebec events an asset.
