The reputation of the Conseil Chiropratique des Sciences du Sport du Québec (CCSSQ) within the triathlon community is well established. The professional services offered by this organization are well known and much appreciated by Triathlon Québec members.
Chiropractors specializing in sports have the skills to properly assess the athlete’s condition, clearly explain the problem and provide the appropriate care.
Since 2012, hundreds of athletes each season have benefited from the expertise of sports chiropractors at Quebec Cup competition venues. With the well-being of our athletes at heart, we look forward to our 12th season of collaboration with the CCSSQ.
During the Coupe Québec 2024 competitions, a team from the CCSSQ will be on hand to offer voluntary relief, correction or prevention treatments to any Triathlon Québec members who need them. You’ll be able to spot them in a red tent right next to the Triathlon Québec booth.
What’s more, throughout the season, several educational capsules on the prevention and treatment of triathlon injuries will be published on our website and social networks.
What is a chiropractor?
A chiropractor is a health-care professional with 5 years of university training and an undergraduate doctorate in chiropractic. The chiropractic profession is recognized by the Office des professions du Québec, and is therefore governed by a professional order whose primary mission is to protect the public. To this end, the Ordre des chiropraticiens du Québec establishes standards of practice that all chiropractors must respect.
Have a great season!
