Become a Technical official
Would you like to become a Technical official?
Triathlon Québec is constantly looking for new people to strengthen its team of technical officials. The federation offers an 8-hour training course leading to Technical official certification, recognized for all triathlon events across the province. For people living in remote areas, an abridged version of the training is offered, enabling them to act as Technical officials at events organized in their region.
Becoming a technical official with Triathlon Québec is a great opportunity to actively contribute to the smooth running of competitions, while meeting other triathlon enthusiasts. Opportunities for advancement are rapid: after just a few years’ experience, it’s possible to move up to higher levels and take part in national and international events.
PTO-1 Prerequisites
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Watch the preparatory videos and read the competition rules
Regional training is not a prerequisite for PTO1 training. A PTO1 technical official must take part in a minimum of three practical events to obtain certification.
