Quebec Games
In 2025, the Games will be held in Trois-Rivières from July 25 to August 2. The triathlon competitions will take place on the magnificent site of Île Saint-Quentin from July 26 to 29. In even-numbered years, athletes are invited to take part in their regional final. This does not allow them to qualify individually, but to qualify the region for the following year. In odd-numbered years, athletes must meet the eligibility criteria by placing at the “espoir” level, then participate in the regional final, where they must finish in the top three to qualify for the provincial final.
Athlete selection 2025
Each region can send its top three 13-17 year-old athletes of either sex (date of birth between 01/01/2008 and 31/12/2012). Athletes must qualify for the regional finals by finishing in the top three. Athletes must be classified as “espoir” by Triathlon Québec according to the following criteria.
Participation in the development camp
Athletes must have participated in a regional or provincial development camp recognized by Triathlon Québec in 2024 or 2025.

Athletes must have achieved the following minimum times in swimming and running (one of the two distances proposed below or an equivalent) at events approved by Triathlon Québec between October 1, 2024 and the date of the regional final OR no later than July 5, 2025. They must be on the Espoir list.
