Regional development camps
Camps presentation
One-day regional camps will be held in several cities prior to the 2025 competition season:
- Victoriaville (central Quebec section, i.e. Mauricie, Centre-du-Québec, Estrie, Richelieu-Yamaska)
- Laval (Quebec metropolitan area, i.e. Lac Saint-Louis, Montreal, Bourassa, Lanaudière, Laurentides, Laval, South Shore)
- Lévis (Eastern Quebec section, i.e. Est-du-Québec, Côte-Nord, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Québec, Chaudière-Appalaches)
- Gatineau (western section of Quebec, i.e. Outaouais, southwest)
- Rouyn-Noranda (Abitibi-Témiscamingue)
These camps contribute to regional development by bringing together athletes and coaches from the same area. Athletes in the U13, U15 and U17 categories who wish to participate in regional events and/or the Quebec Cup circuit are encouraged to attend a regional camp. Participation in this camp is also one of the criteria for obtaining Espoir identification status.
Espoir status is mandatory for participation in the Jeux du Québec 2025.
A typical camp day starts around 9 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. Final information will be e-mailed to participants no later than the Wednesday before the camp. Fees include access to facilities and coaching by certified coaches.
