Bike squad
Squad role
Bike Squad members patrol the bike course at events across Quebec, ensuring that the rules are respected, including the rules on sillonnage. They are identified as members of the squad and issue instructions and penalties as required. They carry a blue card, a whistle and a radio. Some squad members are assigned to various events in Quebec.
Those selected must be aged 18 or over. Once selected, they must complete the online training modules on cycling ethics and competition rules. All members of the cycling squad will undergo a criminal record check. This check is done at Triathlon Québec’s expense. With the Bike Squad, it’s a great summer ahead!
